Gregorian Calendar

This was planned for October 15 but was delayed a couple of days due to bad memory.

Anyway, on October 5 (yes, 5 not 15) in 1582 something funny happened. October 5 didn’t happen at all. Instead the day after October 4 was October 15. At least in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Poland (followed by many others).

This was du to the implementation of the Gregorian calendar. The previous Julian calendar was corrected by 0.002% in year length.

This is of course celebrated with a space level.

String theory explained, so everyone understands it.

Have you heard of the string theory? Here’s an easy explanation. The string theory is plain and simple that if you mark a string of clouds of the same color, and release your finger from the screen, they will rain. Straight down from the last cloud you marked. A good rule is to make them rain into a glass. A glass that wants the same color that you just transformed into a delicious juice rain.

It’s as simple as that.

Now go make your own “cloud strings” and fill that big glass with sweet green apple juice!

HMS Beagle

Today, but 181 years ago, Charles Darwin reached the Galápagos Islands with his ship HMS Beagle. What many people seem to have forgotten was that the main reason to explore the islands was to study the behavior of Juicy Cloud Beamers. Charles learned a lot about mostly Raspberry and Blueberry beamers. Unfortunately his notes about this got lost when he accidentally threw them overboard, trying to hit an annoying seagull on the travel home.

Anyway, here’s a level that reveals some beamer secrets. They don’t always spawn from chains reaching a magic number of clouds in it. They can also spawn by themselves, randomly from the bottom, regardless of the length of the cloud chain.

Autumn Sun

September is here! First official month of autumn. Even though the leaves still are green around Stockholm, we can feel a change in the air. Evenings are getting dark again.

Most of the time pigs filter your juice in a good way but sometimes there is so many of them at once that they are just in the way.
